BD9E104FJ-EVK-001 uses the synchronous rectified step-down DC / DC converter IC BD9E104FJ to output 5V from an input voltage of 12V. The input voltage of BD9E104FJ can be set from 7V to 26V, and the output voltage can be set from 1.0V to 0.5xVIN with an external resistor. The operating frequency is 570kHz. The SLLM(simple light load mode) control provides good efficiency characteristics in a light load conditions which is ideal for equipment that want opt reduce standby power. The current mode control DC/DC converter provides high-speed transient response performance. Additional protection functions include a built-in soft start function to prevent rush current at start-up, UVLO, TSD, SCP and OCP.
