5000 series expanded beam connector range provides a high performance and a simple termination process. This allows for a rapid in-field termination and repair where inserts and termination kits are available. Moreover, the newly designed cable management system prevents fibres and cable to be twisted and their corresponding performance loss. The maximum insertion loss is <lt/>2dB and average insertion loss is <lt/>1.5dB. All plastic body version; UL94-V0 rated, UV stable, halogen free, light-weight, self-extinguishing material suitable for long-term outdoor and defence use.
