OPB840L51

The OPB840L51 is a Slotted Optical Switch with side mount configuration. The OPB840 series provide the design engineer with the flexibility of a custom device from a standard product line. The L Series offers a choice of PC board mount lead spacing. Building from a standard housing that utilizes a 0.375-inch wide slot and an user can specify the electrical output parameters, choice of aperture and discrete shell material, side mount configuration and a choice of lead spacing. Housings are made from an opaque grade of injection-molded plastic that minimizes the assembly sensitivity to visible and near-infrared ambient radiation. Discrete shell is made of either IR transmissive plastic or of opaque plastic with aperture openings.
