LD1117S33CTR is a low-drop voltage regulator that is able to provide up to 800mA of output current. It optimizes the thermal characteristics even offering a relevant space-saving effect. High efficiency is assured by the NPN pass transistor. In fact in this case, unlike than PNP one, the quiescent current flows mostly into the load. Only a very common 10μF minimum capacitor is needed for stability. On-chip trimming allows the regulator to reach a very tight output voltage tolerance, within ±1% at 25°C.
- Internal current and thermal limit, 3.3V output voltage
- Dropout voltage is 1V typ at (IO = 100mA, TJ = 0 to 125°C)
- Output current is 950mA typ at ( Vin = 8.3V, TJ = 25°C)
- Load regulation is 0.1% typ at (Vin = 4.75V, IO = 0 to 800mA)
- Temperature stability is 0.5% typ
- Output noise voltage is 100µV typ at (B = 10Hz to 10KHz, TJ = 25°C)
- Supply voltage rejection is 75dB typ at (IO = 40mA, f = 120Hz, TJ = 25°C)
- Quiescent current is 5mA typ at (Vin ≤ 15V)
- Storage temperature range from -40 to +150°C
- SOT-223 package
