The PESD1CAN from NXP is a CAN bus ESD protection diode in SOT23-3 (TO-236AB) package. It is designed to protect two automotive controller area network (CAN) bus lines from damage caused by electrostatic discharge (ESD) and other transients. Due to integrated diode structure in small SOT23 package is designed to protect two CAN bus lines.

• Maximum peak pulse power of 200W at tp = 8/20ms
• Clamping voltage of 40V at IPP = 1A and 70V at IPP = 3A
• Input voltage range from 90VAC to 264VAC
• ESD protection up to 23KV
• IEC 61000-4-2-level 4, IEC 61000-4-5 compliant
• Ambient temperature range from -65°C to 150°C
