The MCP4561-103E/MS is a single I²C Digital Potentiometer with non-volatile memory. It supports potentiometer wiper configuration and EE memory type. The SCL pin is the serial interfaces serial clock pin.
- 8-bit 256 resistors (257 Steps) resistor network resolution
- Four RAB resistances options - 5, 10, 50 and 100kΩ
- Zero to full-scale wiper operation
- 75Ω Typical low wiper resistance
- 50ppm typical (0 to 70°C) absolute (rheostat) low tempco
- 15ppm Typical ratiometric (potentiometer) low tempco
- Non-volatile memory - automatic recall of saved wiper setting
- WiperLock™ technology
- 10 general purpose memory locations
- High-speed read/write to wiper
- Read/write to EEPROM
- Write protect to be enabled/disable
- WiperLock to be enabled/disabled
- Resistor network terminal disconnect feature via terminal control (TCON) register
- Reset input pin
- Hardware write protect (WP) control pin
- Software write protect (WP) configuration bit
- 1.5V typical brown-out reset protection
- 2.5μA typical serial interface inactive current
- High-voltage tolerant digital inputs up to 12.5V
- Internal weak pull-up on all digital inputs, except SCL and SDA
