The 8862 12/24V from Mascot is a regulated DC to DC converter. This converter switches off automatically when input voltage is over or under the specified range. It has an built-in fuse protection at input and typically used for thermal, short circuit, overvoltage protection at output. The input and output are electrically separated from chassis.
