AA 3038, 50ML

LOCTITE® AA 3038 is a yellow, pre-mix polyolefin structural bonder which has good impact resistance. It has very good adhesion to polyolefin substrates (PP, PE) and to e-coated metals. It has a working life of 4 min and a fixture time <gt/>40 min. It has a service temperature range up to +100°C and a shear strength of 13N/mm² at PBT-plastics. LOCTITE® AA 3038™ is designed primarily to bond e-coated metals (ECS) to glass fibre filled polypropylenes (PPGF) but can also be used on other low energy substrates such as LDPE and HDPE. The product is designed to work without surface pre-treatment. The product contains 0.25mm fillers for bondline thickness control. The thixotropic nature of LOCTITE® AA 3038™ reduces the migration of liquid product after application to the substrate.
