01407-7 is a Kvaser OBD-II to D-SUB 9 adapter cable. The Adapter cable has a D-SUB 9 socket connector at one end and an OBD-II (J1962) Type B connector for 24V operation at the other. The OBD-II connector provides access to the on-board diagnostic port, typically located below the steering wheel in cars, and is also used in some trucks and buses. This halogen-free, flame-retardant CAN-bus cable is designed to connect a Kvaser CAN interface or data logger for collecting CAN/OBD-II data.
