The 515-1027F is a 1-element transparent panel-mount LED Round Light Pipe made of high transmissivity polycarbonate. The Optopipe™ MicroLED SMT LED optical light pipe designed to replace 5mm right angle through-hole device. This Optopipe's™ light emitting surface appears bright and uniformly luminous. It is reliably held in the panel by 3 press-fit splines. This Optopipe™ functions as a through-the-case indicator with a textured finish on its light-emitting surface that increases its viewing angle. The light source can be any super-bright 597 Series SMT LED. The emitting surface of the light source should be located no more than 0.02-inch from the Optopipe™.
