The 6554 series universal zero insertion force DIP Test Socket accepts devices on 0.3 to 0.6-inch centres. The socket handle can be configured with closed contacts (ON) when in the UP or DOWN position and can be mounted on either the right or left side. It can be soldered into PCB or plugged into any socket. Socket fits into Aries or any competitive test socket receptacle. It is made of glass-filled polyphenylene sulphide (PPS) body with gold-plated beryllium copper contacts and stainless steel handle.
