MAX490ECSA+

MAX490ECSA+ is a ±15kV ESD-protected, slew-rate-limited, low-power transceiver for RS-485 and RS-422 communications in harsh environments. Each driver output and receiver input is protected against ±15kV electro-static discharge (ESD) shocks, without latch up. Suitable for low-power RS-485 transceivers, low-power RS-422 transceivers, level translators, transceivers for EMI-sensitive applications, industrial-control local area networks.

• Supply voltage range from 4.75V to 5.25V
• Data rate up to 2.5Mbps
• Configuration: 1 driver and 1 receiver​
• Receiver input hysteresis is 70mV
• Fail-safe feature: open-circuit receiver inputs default to logic-high
• Designed for low-voltage applications and full duplex communication
• 8 pin SO package
• Temperature range from 0°C to +70°C
