LTM8003IY

LTM8003IY is a 40VIN, 6A peak, 3.5A continuous step-down Silent Switcher µModule® (power module) regulator. Its silent switcher architecture minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMI) while delivering high efficiency at frequencies up to 3MHz. Packaged with the switching controller, power switches, inductors, and all support components, it offers a comprehensive solution. Operating over an input voltage range of 3.4V to 40V, the LTM8003 supports an output voltage range of 0.97V to 18V, with a switching frequency range of 200KHz to 3MHz, each set by a single resistor. Only the input and output filter capacitors are needed to complete the design. Its low-profile package enables efficient use of unused space on the bottom of PCBs for high-density point-of-load regulation. Applications include automotive battery regulation, power for portable products, distributed supply regulation, industrial supplies, and wall transformer regulation.
