LTM8002HY#PBF

LTM8002 is a step-down µModule® (power module) regulator. Included in the package are the switching controller, power switches, inductor, and all support components. Only the input and output filter capacitors are needed to finish the design. The low profile package enables utilization of unused space on the bottom of PC boards for high density point of load regulation. FMEA compliant pinout output stays at or below regulation voltage during adjacent pin short or if a pin is left floating. It is used in application such as automotive battery regulation, power for portable products, distributed supply regulation, industrial supplies, wall transformer regulation etc.

• Wide input voltage range is 3.4V to 40V
• Wide output voltage range is 0.97V to 18V
• External synchronization, programmable soft-start
• Switching frequency is 200KHz typical at (RT = 232Kohm)
• Quiescent current into VIN is 3µA typical at (RUN = 0V)
• Operating temperature is -40°C to 150°C
• Package style is 49-lead BGA
