LTM4644IY#PBF is a quad DC/DC step-down µModule (micromodule) regulator with 4A per output. Outputs can be paralleled in an array for up to 16A capability. Included in the package are the switching controllers, powerFETs, inductors, and support components. Typical applications include multirail point of load regulation, FPGAs, DSPs and ASICs applications.
- Up to 5.5W power dissipation (TA = 60°C, 200 LFM, no heat sink)
- Current mode control, fast transient response
- Parallelable for higher output current, output voltage tracking
- Internal temperature sensing diode output
- External frequency synchronization, overvoltage, current and temperature protection
- Input DC voltage range from 4 to 14V
- Input supply current is 0.62A typ at VIN = 12V, VOUT = 1.5V, IOUT = 4A
- Oscillator frequency is 1MHz typ at TA = 25°C, VIN = 12V
- 77-lead BGA package
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
