HMC253ALC4

HMC253ALC4 is a GaAs MIMIC SP8T non-reflective switch. The switch offers a single positive bias and true TTL/CMOS compatibility enabling it to operate with 0/+3V control and a +5V supply. A 3:8 decoder is integrated on the switch requiring only 3 control lines and a positive bias to select each path. The HMC253ALC4 SP8T will replace multiple configurations of SP4T and SPDT MMIC switches. Typical application includes basestations and repeaters, WiMAX/WiBro and fixed wireless, cellular/3G infrastructure, CATV/DBS, and military and Hi-Rel.

• Insertion loss is 1.6dB (typ, DC - 3.0GHz, TA = +25°C, Vdd = +5V)
• Isolation is 39dB (typ, DC - 3.0GHz, TA = +25°C, Vdd = +5V)
• Return loss is 13dB (typ, 0.3 - 3.0GHz, “on state”, TA = +25°C)
• Return loss (RF1-8) is 10dB (typ, 0.3 - 3.5GHz, “off state”, TA = +25°C)
• Input power for 1dB compression is 24dBm (typ, 0.5 - 3.5GHz, TA = +25°C)
• Input third order intercept (two-tone input power = +10dBm each tone) is 43dBm (typ, 0.5 - 3.5GHz)
• Switching characteristics is 30ns (typ, tRISE, tFALL (10/90% RF)
• Switching characteristics is 100ns (typ, tON, tOFF (50% CTL to 10/90% RF)
• 24 lead LCC-EP package, operating temperature range from -40 to +85°C
