ADM2461E is a 500Kbps, signal isolated RS-485 transceiver that pass radiated emissions testing to the EN55032 Class B standard with margin on a 2-layer printed circuit board(PCB). The ADM2461E isolation barrier provides robust immunity to noise and system level EMC events. Typical application includes heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) networks, industrial field buses, building automation and utility networks.

• Cable inversion smart feature
• Correction for reversed cable connection on A, B, Y, Z bus pins, maintaining full receiver fail-safe

• Low speed 500Kbps data rate for EMI control
• Flexible power supply inputs: primary VDD1 of 1.7V to 5.5V and isolated VDD2 of 3V to 5.5V
• Profibus® compliant for 5V VDD2 and short-circuit, open-circuit, floating input receiver fail-safe
• 16 lead WSOIC package
• Operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
