ADE9112ARNZ

ADE9112ARNZ is a sampling Σ-Δ analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) for both DC and polyphase shunt-based energy metering applications. It features two fully differential Σ-Δ ADC channels for isolated applications where only a single voltage channel is required. It includes a high-gain, current channel best suited for use with a shunt resistor as the current sensor. It delivers system cost savings and increased robustness. The main device can drive clocks of up to three additional devices with a single crystal. The bidirectional, serial port interface (SPI) supports a daisy-chain capability, allowing access to all registers while reducing the required microcontroller pin count. It is used in applications such as shunt-based polyphase meters, electric vehicle supply equipment, DC meters, power quality monitoring, solar inverters, process monitoring, protective devices, isolated sensor interfaces.

• ±31.25mV maximum peak analogue input voltage range for current channel
• ±500mV maximum peak single-ended analogue input voltage range for voltage channels
• Single 3.3V supply for isolated and no isolated measurements
• Total harmonic distortion is -96dBFS typical at (VDD = 3.3V ±10%, AGND = 0V, DGND = 0V)
• Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, 28-lead SOIC-W-FP package
