The 800 series from TE Connectivity are low profile DIP sockets with 2.54mm pitch spacing. These sockets combines precision four fingered inner contacts with an open ladder insulator to produce ultimate high reliability socket. It also provides concentric funnel entry for easy flat and round lead insertion. Non wicking closed bottom sleeve provides 100% protection against flux and solder contamination. The 800 series has choice of solderless wrap or PC termination.

• Accommodates 8 through 64 pins DIPS, rectangular or round IC leads
• Beryllium copper inner contact for maximum mechanical and electrical performance
• Machined (Premium series) and stamped (Economy series) contacts are available
• Gold or tin/lead plating (Premium or Economy series) and low gold (Economy series)
• Contact resistance of 10mohm maximum
• Contact rating of 3A
• Dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000Vrms per MIL-STD-1344
• Operating temperature range from -55°C to 125°C (gold contact) and -55°C to 105°C (tin/lead contact)
