Scotch® Performance Masking Tape 244 is a gold coloured specialty masking tape with a flat paper backing and a synthetic adhesive, well suited for holding, bundling, sealing and paint masking, particularly where exposure to sunlight is expected. It is provided with a yellow smooth paper backing and a 0.085mm thick synthetic adhesive. This tape is particularly resistant to UV, and is waterproof. It has a good temperature resistance (100°C). This tape can be used for a wide range of masking applications, especially for applications where UV resistance and clean removal is required and with an optimum temperature of 100°C for 30 minutes (i.e marine market). Designed with a flat paper backing with synthetic adhesive, this tape offers a good solvent and water resistance and a good paint anchorage. Applications includes fascia painting, marine, paint masking, sealing, UV protection.
