JN5169XK020UL is a ZigBee lighting/sensor node expansion kit contains components that form a ZigBee node based on the NXP® JN5169 wireless microcontroller. The node provides lighting and sensor functionality. It can participate in a ZigBee wireless network which may, for example, be created using components of the JN516x-EK004 or JN516x-EK001 ZigBee Evaluation Kit. It can be introduced into the network via ZigBee commissioning or, optionally, via NFC commissioning using the NTAG® I²C kit (available separately). The JN5169 module supplied in this kit is pre-programmed as a dimmer light for use in the ZigBee smart home demonstration provided in the JN516x-EK004 Evaluation Kit. Target applications include ZigBee on/off light, ZigBee colour light, ZigBee dimmable light, ZigBee colour dimmable light, ZigBee extended colour light, ZigBee Colour Temperature Light, ZigBee On/Off Ballast, ZigBee Dimmable Ballast, ZigBee Light Sensor or Light Level Sensor.

• JN5169 Microcontroller Module (JN5169-001-T00) with integrated PCB antenna for 2.4GHz operation
• Carrier board to accommodate the expansion board and JN5169 module
• Adapter for connecting an NTAG® I2 C antenna board (not included) to the carrier board
