The RT6215EHGJ8F from Richtek is a 2A, 24V, 500KHz, ACOT step-down converter in 8 pin TSOST-23 package. It is a high-efficiency, monolithic synchronous step-down DC to DC converter that can deliver up to 2A output current from a 4.5V to 24V input supply. The RT6215E adopts advanced constant on-time (ACOT) architecture to provide a very fast transient response with few external components and keep in constant frequency. Cycle-by-cycle current limit provides protection against shorted outputs and soft-start eliminates input current surge during start-up. Input under-voltage lock-out, output under-voltage protection, over-current protection and Overtemperature protection offer completely safe and smooth operation in all applied conditions. It is used in set top box, portable TV, access point router, DSL modem and LCD TV.
