The GX-M series cylindrical Inductive Proximity Sensor. The rated sensing distance for the GX-M series ranges from 1.5 to 22mm. Each type is available as a normally open or normally closed type, with a cable (2m) or plug-in (M12) connection (except for the M8 size). For the 3-wire version, all models are equipped with a short-circuit transistor output (PNP or NPN). The GX-M series comes in a robust metal housing (nickel-plated brass) and boasts an IP68 degree of protection. All models incorporate an LED indicator that displays the operation status. The GX-M sensors are especially suited for positioning and object recognition tasks in machine building.
