The P6SMB12A from Littelfuse is a 600W, unidirectional transient voltage suppressor in DO-214AA package. It features excellent clamping capability, low incremental surge resistance, low profile package, built-in strain relief and fast response time. The P6SMB series is designed specifically to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. It is ideal for the protection of I/O Interfaces, VCC bus and other vulnerable circuits.
- Reverse standoff voltage VR is 10.2V
- Breakdown voltage VBR is 11.4V minimum and 12.6V maximum at 1mA
- Maximum reverse leakage is 5µA
- Maximum clamping voltage VC is 16.7V
- Maximum peak pulse current is 36.5A
- Power dissipation on infinite heat sink at TL=50°C is 5W
- Peak forward surge current IFSM is 100A
- Maximum instantaneous forward voltage is 5V
- Operating temperature range from -65°C to +175°C, IEC-61000-4-2 ESD 30KV (air), 30KV (contact)
- ESD protection of data lines with IEC 61000-4-2 and EFT protection with IEC 61000-4-4 standard
