FT240XQ-T

FT240XQ-T is an USB full-speed to parallel FIFO interface with USB charger detection. This USB 2.0 full-speed IC offers a compact bridge to 8-bit wide FIFO interfaces. This device is a FIFO, capable of operating up to 1MByte/s, with low power consumption (8mA). The FT240X includes the complete FT-X series feature set and enables USB to be added into a system design quickly and easily over an 8-bit wide FIFO interface. Applications include upgrading legacy peripherals to USB cellular and cordless phone USB data transfer cables and interfaces, interfacing MCU/PLD/FPGA-based designs to USB, USB smart card readers, USB industrial control, USB FLASH card reader and writers, set-top box PC – USB interface, USB digital camera interface, USB instrumentation, dedicated charging port (DCP) detection enables battery charging at a higher current for faster charge times.
