LTM4650AEY#PBF

LTM®4650A is a dual 25A or single 50A output switching mode step-down DC/DC µModule® (micromodule) regulator with ±1% total DC output error. Included in the package are the switching controllers, power FETs, inductors and all supporting components. Operating from an input voltage range of 4.5V to 16V, the LTM4650A supports two outputs with an output voltage range of 0.6V to 5.5V, each set by a single external resistor. Its high efficiency design delivers up to 25A continuous current for each output. Fast internal control loop compensation allows for fast transient response to minimize output capacitance when powering FPGAs, ASICs, and processors. Fault protection features include overvoltage and overcurrent protection. Application includes telecom and networking equipment, storage and ATCA cards, industrial equipment.

• Typical input inrush current at start-up is 1A (TA=25°C, VIN=12V and VRUN1, VRUN2 at 5V)
• Typical input supply current is 8.2A (VIN=5V, VOUT=1.2V, IOUT=25A, TA=25°C)
• Output continuous current range from 0 to 25A (VIN=12V, VOUT=1.2V, TA=25°C)
• Load regulation accuracy is 0.1% typ (for each output, VIN=12V, VOUT=1.2V, IOUT from 0A to 25A)
• Typical output ripple voltage frequency is 500KHz (VIN=12V, VOUT=1.2V, fSET=1.25V)
• SYNC capture range from 250 to 780KHz (TA=25°C, VIN=12V and VRUN1, VRUN2 at 5V)
• 144-lead BGA package, temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
