The 1.5KE18A from Littelfuse is a 1500W, unidirectional transient voltage suppressor in DO-201 package. It is constructed with glass passivated chip junction. It features excellent clamping capability, fast response time and low incremental surge resistance. The 1.5KE series is designed specifically to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. It is ideal for the protection of I/O interfaces, VCC bus and other vulnerable circuits.

• Breakdown voltage VBR is 17.1V minimum and 18.9V maximum at 1mA
• Maximum reverse leakage is 1µA
• Maximum clamping voltage VC is 25.2V
• Maximum peak pulse current is 60.3A
