LED Downlights

LED downlight and LED spotlight adoption represents a key goal for the LED lighting industry. By providing a solderless interconnection hub, TE Connectivity have enabled easy installation of Bridgelux RS and Lumileds Luxeon S LEDs, allowing attachment to a heat sink or PCB using standard M3 screws.

On the block diagram below you can find associated products to provide a complete installation solution for a LED downlight system using Bridgelux RS or Lumileds Luxeon S LEDs, allowing you to produce cost-effective LED downlights. We have sourced lenses, heat sinks, thermal transfer tape and screws to complement the TE Connectivity Solderless LED socket, Type LS / Type BR.
